My son is 2 1/2 he did a print job for a costumes place. The first time he was fine. The second time he went he was crying. He wouldn't put on the costumes. I was there for 2 hours. I felt bad. the people said it's ok don't force him. I called my agent and told her. she said don't worry it always happens. I figured ok they just won't call him again. Well today I get a call and they want him to come back again and do more work. I explained to them what happen last time. I said sure I'll go but I am just worried it will happen again. I don't want him to be the boy that cried. He is fine with everything else. He loves having his picture taken. I think he was just sacred of the costumes. so with that said. do you guys think I Should I take the job and take a chance???

I would try it again-- make sure he is healthy, well rest, well fed -- If he starts to fuss again then you know he really does not want to do this.

I have a 2 1/2 yr old as well who I have not submitted anywhere yet (only ds and dd so far) but have been pondering it since he can recite every song from high school mus. and is known at the local grocery store because of it. lol.Anways,i had the same concern, he does get an agent and we get work what happens if.....
It comes down to the fact that the kid is still what I consider a baby/toddler &theydo that kind of stuff. One minute they are happy one minute thay are not. I can not offer solid advice of what goes on in the biz becasue ive never dealt with anything like that yet but being that I have a 2 1/2 yr old id say as long as he wasnt scared of the costumes and was not getting frightened why not just try again? Maybe he justhad a bad day (or hour for that matter) If he was down right scared I myself wouldnt subject him to it again, otherwise what do you have to loose? Have fun!!

First of all, congrats on your son being offered the job, once again. They must have a good understanding that little ones are not always predictable. Maybe the next time around you can arrive an hour early and arrange time to allow your son to get used to the costumes before he puts them on. Maybe you can play a game with them to make the experience fun, while giving him time to adjust to the whole idea. That has worked for me in the past.

Good luck and I hope you both have fun!

Well thanks guys for your advise. I called ford back and she said no harm done. She doesn't want to scare him. She said the client doesn't use a back up. She said once again it happens all the time. Thanks again..
