here is my question..
we have like 3 agents in pittsburgh PA.. that i could find when i googled them.. LOL and what if they dont take us?? someone said that most agents want you to live no more than 2 hr away.. NY is 5+ hrs from here.. shoudl i still apply?? any tips please??? |

Unless you are willing to drop everything and come to NY at a moment's notice for an audition, don't submit to NY agents. Most would not take you unless you are nearby anyway.
Submit to the agents in Pittsburgh. I have a friend who does alot of commerical work in Pittsburgh. To work in a major market like NY or LA, you need to live very close to those areas. I have had agents call me at 12pm and ask me to go to an audition that same day at 3pm. Hope this helps! |
