I submitted my 6yr old dd photos to product via online yesterday, just wondering if anyone had done this and how long it usually takes before you heard something, it says 4-6 months on the website. Thanks!

Hello I tried to submit and had problems doing so. Is there an e-mail where I can send my sons pictures?

Thanks for any help :-)

I heard within 10 days. They invited us to the open call on 3/1 but unfortunately we'll be away. I'm waiting for further instructions. I was unable to upload pics through the computer because we have a Mac. I emailed the link on there for technical difficulties, but I never heard back. Anyway, it didn't matter because the pics I mailed to them did the trick. Good luck!

Optimistic, your pics may be too large for their server. Try resizing them and do it again.

Fanmom, I have not submitted to Product but i hear they give you a parent password and you can check the website daily for messages. maybe someone else can tell you more.

Thank you, the pic is rather large. I have to figure out how to resize and resend.

Thanks again. I am hoping my son can go for the open casting this weekend 3/1/08

I have a Mac and was able to download a program called Imagewell for free. if you have a PC, google "resizing software or downloads' and you should be able to find one. It's very easy. i am not great on the computer and i was able to use it.

If you have a Mac it will not work. You'll have to mail them.

Notblond- we posted at the same time. That's interesting! I've never heard of that. Our Mac is new and I'm not so sure how I feel about it!

Ok you guys/ladies were right. I was attempting to send with a Mac and it did not work, however I also have a PC and sent with that this AM. I am excited for my little son. I hope he gets called. He actually has a modeling gig no pay just products for a hair magazine the end of next month. He has long curly locks down his back. I am hoping to get him represented by a reputable agency. I went to Tannens talent and they wanted me to take $350 head shots. Then another agency wanted me to pay $224 for postage..I am not working with either one.

I don't understand-it's not like this is a student film--but why is this magazine not paying your child for his time? Isn't this some kind of labor law violation? Or is it "barter" because he gets some shampoo?

Good luck, and congrats on knowing enough to avoid those "agencies!"

Not sure but I will be able to use the products as well and they will provide food and 50 copies of the magazine. So I said hey I could use the pics. And would love their products so no biggie for me. I will be in the magazine with him so for exposure for him I thought what the hay.

Hi my daughter was recently signed with Product and we had submitted her pictures through there website. I had trouble too although it wasnt due to her pic being over sized for some reason it just took a few trys. They contacted us for there open call a few days later and sent out a packet with tones of information (helpful and intresting) the week before. The interview was only a few minutes long. After the open call it only took 3 days for them to contact us. Since then weve had our phone interview and now were getting all the paper work together. They are really nice and helpful there. Were new to all this but Ive had nothing but a great and exciting experience so far and Im learning new things everyday. Which Id also like to say thanks to everyone who posts on these messsage boards because they are so helpful. Good Luck to everyone!!
