Just curious to see if things are starting to pick up in the south. It seems like it is slower than normal. We did do a movie and tv show, but other than that it seems extremely slow.

I am in Louisiana....we are new to it all. I submitted online my ds photo thinking it wouldn't lead anywhere, and 4 day later I got an email and phone call asking us to meet. We did and we signed a contract for 1 year. We are going this weekend to the appointment for head/shots with Photographer Richard Mellinger. When we meet with the agency the told us things have slowed down but said it should pick up soon here bc Louisiana just passed the huge tax break for the film industry. As i said we are new to this and we shall see what happens. we did our research on the company and know its legit and we didn't pay for anything. our friends dd started with them and just sign with Funny Face in NY. Any advice from you pros would be welcomed

Sounds like some good news from Alabama and Louisiana. How about Virginia? Anyone working here? If so, throw me a life line.
