There are some attornies who are SAG members.

Maybe you could call SAG for names of some who specialize in entertainment law

We should keep this thread going. would love some resources for parents to use to also look over contracts they are given before signing them!

Give them a call. I think they should be able to at least guide you in the right direction and may have resources as well to provide you.

They are located in both NY and LA.

This is a great website for all to look over. It's were your children may be 10 years down the road when they are transitioning from child actor to adult actor and not sure which path to take...college, career, how to balance both - they have some wonderful seminars and also help actors with part-time employment.

If you ever need help - there are plenty of actors looking for part-time work and are listed with the actor's fund.

I was just looking through the Women in Film/Television website and noticed a legal resource page. I don't have any personal experience with the legal resources mentioned, however, I am very familiar with this organization so perhaps you can look this over and contact them with any further questions.
