Shirley Grant is considered a New York manager. her offices are in New Jersey as are many managers, but her connections are all in New York City. You will go there for the meeting and then never have to go again. We are not with Shirley Grant but I would not have ruled her out if it was the right fit. She certainly reps some top kids and it is worth meeting her. It is not as if managers are hanging around on street corners in NYC looking for kids to sign. You may not get other offers and shouldn't pass one up until you meet them.

I don't think you have any reason to be worried at all. I have 2 girls signed with them and they are wondeful. My girls get sent out quite often to great go sees and auditions.Like anything else they may not be the right fit for everyone but in my opinion the people over there are really GREAT!

Re: SG, she is a very good manager. Since you were able to pique the interest of one good manager, you might want to submit to other managers and even agents to see if others are interested as well. That way you can meet more than one and then see who you click with the best. GL!

I was always curious why people at auditions sign in under Shirley Grant. Why is she the only mgr where you dont have to put the agents name. Does she act as both?

may i ask how long have they been with SG?

He has been with them about 2 years.
