Hello,

I have been accepted to the CAP 21 summer musical intensive, but they only had space left for the part time program that has no dance. I would like to find a good dance studio in NY (or a couple of places) where I could get a similar cirriculum of ballet, jazz, and tap with a musical theatre focus. Ideally, this would be in the mornings when I am not at my program. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Broadway Dance Center and Steps are a couple of the big ones, and share a lot of the same instructors. Google for websites and schedules.

there's a great studio called Peridance that is on 14th street, which is close to the U-Hall (University Hall) Dorm as well as Palladium and Third North dorms. (im an nyu alumn, could you tell?)

its much closer to the NYU area and less crowded than Broadway Dance. I've taken hip hop and jazz there and the teachers are fantastic.
