You share the same trepidation with all who venture to the Golden State. But it's not really as scary a place as you'd imagine. However, it is BIG. I strongly recommend that you arrange for a rental car when you arrive, or enlist the help of some kind soul who wouldn't mind squiring you around town. Driving the Mean Streets of LA when you're used to driving on the left side could be a bit dicey, for any driver. When you narrow down the best areas to find acting opportunities, LA isn't quite as hard to negotiate as it may first seem. Once you learn our freeway system a bit better, it begins to make sense. Just do a search on this same board to find the most likely places to live and work. Cheers! P.S.- I just shot a married couple from Manchester who flew out to NYC for their new headshots. They own their own theater company in Leeds, and I just emailed them to ask if you could speak with them about living and working in the States. I'll be back here with the info... www.robertkim.com
