Hey guys, I'm new to LA and would like to do some extra work...

any tips on which agencies to go to, or avoid?

This is an easy one, the best and biggest is Central Casting. They do almost all TV shows and lots of movies. Both union and non-union.

There are many other smaller places, but back when I did extra work, it almost all came from Central.
