I am in the beginning stages of my career, and am having trouble finding an acting coach to work with privately for on-camera technique. Anyone else from NJ worked with someone they would recommend? Thanks a bunch! Big Grin

I study at the Actors Training Institute. I would recommend it.

NY is so close (depending on where in NJ you are.. even then, you could just take a bus or train), you might wanna look there.

As a fellow New Jerseyan in a similar situation, id have to agree with the above poster. NY has some of the best and most revered acting schools and coaches in the world, so why not study there?

Heres a list of acting coaches and schools in NY (it does include a few from NJ) http://www.backstage.com/bso/e...ontent_id=1003961096

But if youd rather study in NJ, ive heard good things about the Papermill Playhouse in Millburn. http://www.papermill.org/papermill.html
