hey me again.. moving to LA next yr on my own so i'l see if by then i can afford to rent my own flat but if not i know i can prob find ads in papers etc looking for people to house/flat share with them etc. I'd prob prefer to live with fellow actors. are there any papers/websites to keep an eye out for?

There's a company called Westside Rentals which has up to date listings for all over the city, not just the west side. Also, Craig's List is a great resource.

If you're looking for actor roommates, the SAG building used to have a board with notices. You might want to look into that.

But your first decision is figuring out where you want to live. This town is spread out - from Santa Monica to Hollywood, from the basin up to the Valley. You're going to have to do some research.

You should also know that the best way to find an apartment is to pick a neighborhood you like (and can afford) and start driving around. Landlords always post signs outside. That's how I found my first place here.
