Hello, this may seem like a simple question, but since I have never done this before I wanted to get input. I am mailng my headshot with the resume attached on the back to a casting agency for a certain role. Where do i put the role that I want to be considered for? My thought is somewhere on the resume on the back, because the envelope will get thrown away. Anyway, let me know what is the standard for this.
Thanks!

Include a very short cover letter briefly mentioning your experience/training and the role you would like to be considered for.

Short and to the point is best.

you can even get away with a post-it with the role listed on it attached to the headshot. I would also put the role or atleast the project on the outside envelope below the mailing info. I opened alot of mail at the CD office and the quicker it is to separate the mail, the better....and sometimes if you dont put the role somewhere, it will be up to the person opening to decide to spend 10 seconds picking a role for you or just tossing it.
