That's really a hard one, since casting seems to be an ongoing process, even after pilot season, and it depends on what type of casting you are more interested in, film, TV or theatre. And to pick 3 to 4 months is almost impossible. But, from past experience, the slowest times have seemed to be late June to early July and then the last 2 weeks of December to first 2 weeks of January, picking up after Sundance has ended. But the industry can be so unpredictable and with the strikes and all, it's really hard to lock in the slowest time, except for the end of the year. Sorry this probably didn't really answer your question, it's just what our family has experienced over the years.
