i, too, met with keith in february 2008. i was dubious, but willing to take a chance. when i arrived, he was meeting with another actor in his office. i could hear a little of their conversation and he basically told the actor that, based on his reading, he should take some more acting classes. but he was kind about it and even gave the guy a one month pass to a class that he recommended. he didn't take the kids money. he did take mine. said my reading was great and that he thought he could help me. i left his office hoping i hadn't made a mistake. in the next couple of weeks, he sent me a list of agents to mail to and began inviting me to meet agents in his office on saturdays. in the end, i was offered representation by a couple of agencies that were either irreputable or dubious, so i didn't accept. (thanks to this board so i could check the comments on these guys!) i wrote keith and told him i was taking a break from my search and asked for the promised refund. he called me to tell me he was putting a check in the mail (which he did and which did not bounce). he also told me that whenever i was ready to start my agent search again to let him know and he would help me free of charge, payable only if i signed with an agent. i think keith is honest. i think he does good business. is he a miracle worker? no. there were no meetings at caa. but if he'd promised me that, i'd have never given him my money to start with.

Hi, me again, so I want to make this clear. my name is Diana and if u have questions, I will answer.I did meet with David Moss and he seemed to have liked me , but he probably wanted big names. I will tell you this :I met with Jerry Pace in June...I also knew about Jerry Pace and the fact that he signs everybody...so I took the phone numbers of 2 other people I met at the interview and we decided to keep in touch...Jerry wanted to sign all of us 3, but not all the people that came that Saturday...eventually,even if I wanted any agent,absolutely everybody told me not to sign...my 2 other fellow actors decided not to...Jerry is nice, but he NEVER calls back, but , what I did, I called Keith and said, I know you think Jerry is great, I just want to meet other agents and have an option and I just heard too much about Jerry Pace, that I didn't want to sign with him.He says ok ...he calls me and tells me that in a 2 week time I'd meet with David Moss.So , I do, he seems to like me , but eventually he doesn't call back, then after 2 more weeks I met with Aimee and I think I did really good and still wait for a week and Keith calls me and tells me they want me and so , I sign. So , what can I tell you? this was my experience and I asked other people and told me good things. P.S. I graduated at Stella Adler in 2006 and after that I met with many agents through some seminars , but it seemed I wasted my money, so , my advice: be aware that some things work for YOU, some DON'T, Keith was great for me and I have and agent.Everything elese didn't work and I spent much more money before I met him. Good luck and find your way, whatever that is.

Will do. But as an actress, you of all people should understand why people are so wary of others.

I just read all these comments. WOW. I met keith just over a year ago and he delivered on every promise he offered me.
I was extremely cautious and made many real enquiries (that means I actually employed the old fashioned technique of speaking with people....amazing I know) and all were very positive towards Keith's Personal reputation and some were quite honestly not sure about the consultant service. I say not sure, in that they had never used it or they did not know of others that had, but had only read bottom end comments like the negative feedback on here. Respectfully they indicated that they were not in a position to give me credible advice.
Anyway....I was alerted to this board a few days ago after I had personally dropped in MY unsolicited reference to Keith. For those that aren't so bright, that means I wrote this out of respect for Keith's assistance and support, nothing more!
So here is a copy of my written reference;
“When I first arrived in Hollywood and met Keith, it was a wonderful surprise. It made sound professional sense to find someone who knew the workings of the town and could direct me along the shortest and most direct route. Introducing me to suitable agents where there would be a reciprocal and joint interest. Them in me, me in them. In a very short period of time we agreed on a suitable match and I was on my way.
From what I see, is that Keith receives a great deal of personal satisfaction in assisting his clients along on their journey. He has a very real interest in assisting actors connect with their first agent or established actors move to more suitable representation. He can help you win solid representation! No matter where the journey takes me Keith, you always a well respected part of my career. I urge you to continue your work. Hollywood needs you, it’s too easy for great talent to free fall through the cracks, lost forever!”
GK
For those of you who are interested. I had meetings with 4 agents, and all were taken within in a short period of time. Each one, in my humble opinion were reputable and one happened to be Jerry Pace who didn't offer me representation. (contrary to someone's comments that he signs everyone) I signed reasonably quickly with another. I have since become sag Eligible, made 6 incredibly great short films, a webisode and just booked a lead in a well written Feature Film. I guess I've been on call back for over 8 National SAG commecials unfortunately I am still to book one. I do not have classic leading man looks, though I am well trained, I make the most of what I have, work very hard and I am very realistic about the journey we undertake as artists/ men / women. So try to enjoy it guys...... Positive energy begit success.
by the way; I have two friends represented by Jerry Pace (and not via meetings implemented by Keith) and they are extremely happy and booking damn decent work.
Please be careful with throwing mud around. It is far too easy.
and good luck and keep smiling.

You were lucky. A good friend of mine paid him more than $400 for his "assistance." It was mediocre at best. He "found" her an agent Jack Scagnetti who takes anyone and everyone (so really there is no need for Keith), built her a website FROM A $25 TEMPLATE that was so mediocre that a 10 year old would have done much better from scratch; wrong info, typos, on sense of margins, black font color with med/dark blue background, washed-out-blah-non-professional headshots from a photographer HE recommended, bought and kept her domain name, and basically kept leading her on with meetings and rescheduling them when she would show up for them. EARLY or ON TIME. Oh yeah. And his "up to date acting coach guide" hadn't been updated for more than 5-6 years. At least when she found Keith and bought the booklet. All I know is that I TOLD her not to waste her money on him. czarina

quote: Originally posted by lilac: hey there. just wanted to post again since some posters think that others are just fakes... please read my previous post about keith. it is an honest account of our business together. like many of you, i met with and was offered representation by doug bennet of the don gerler agency (yikes!!!!) and dedicated / jerry pace (a million headshots stacked and posted throughout lisa's office. i could only think - how could one agency handle that kind of roster? anyway, that's my 2cents. keith is nice, but no miracle worker... best to all of you!
I am confused... I have never heard of Keith or his "services", so please inform a fellow "newbie". He promises that for $400, he can get you representation? Does he have close affiliations with a large number of agencies? How else would these agencies take referrals from him? Is there any way to know which agencies he has connections to? I guess I am confused as to how a middle man can get you seen any more than mass mailings when it comes to finding an agent. Thanks.
