I know that's a pretty vague question, but.....what's the price? Is it a good group to be with?

the owner, jack, used to run a public forum like this one, many years ago, like in the 90s. he had some very distasteful things to say in regards to any actor who was not a SAG member and not living in LA. then, he made his forum a paid membership only, so then it became, if you weren't in LA, weren't a SAG member, and weren't a member of Actorsite, then there was no possible way you were a real actor and did not deserve any kind of respect whatsoever.

this issue caused everyone to leave the website (and probably took some business away from Actorsite), and left a sour taste in a lot of actors across the nation who did not feel this disrespect was deserved (which, obviously, it wasn't). then, several new boards were formed with a new vision to protect actors from that kind of behavior.

so who knows. it's been what, nearly a decade, since this happened. most people who were "involved" still have a very sour taste in their mouths and may not have much positive to say about him and his business at this point.

first impressions are remembered impressions. and word will still spread, even years later.

if you're ok being with a man who believes these things, and maybe worse, then why not? personally, i will never use his services and give my money to a man with such closeminded views of the world.

but in case we forget, where do LAs actors come from? because the number who come from LA, well, it's probably VERY VERY small. which means, basically, he is insulting nearly every actor who exists, and most of those in LA, since they came from somewhere else.

but this is just what i know.

Don't waste your time. Not worth it.
