Does anyone have any feedback on Talent Agencies
in Costa Mesa, CA?
An agency called my daughter to come in and they took her measurements and told her if they were interested in her they would call her. They did, the next day. Sounds like it may be some kind of scam calling back so soon as she lives 60 miles away.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated before making the trip.
Also...I have told her to not sign anything with anyone & don't pay for anything as of yet.
HELP.....

What is the name of the agency? Are they listed in Ross Reports? Did you google the name plus "Scam" and see what comes up?

How did they find out about your daughter? Are they listed in ross reports? Did you see if they are licensed/bonded?

Is it the same "infinite talent" mentioned in this article? If so, I think you have your answer.

Infinite Talent charges $29.95 per month for their clients to register on their Web site, Duback said, and registrants can then search the site for jobs that are available.

"One thing that's for sure is that a company that makes you pay money to be represented is never a good plan," said Julia Lehman, a junior majoring in theater who has been acting in Los Angeles since she was 16. "It's a Hollywood rule that agents don't get paid until you do; that's why they work so hard."

I read the review on ripoff-report, same person.
I managed to get in touch with my Daughter about 15-20 minutes into her travel to the agency and told her it was a scam. I read her the article and she said it was almost exactly what they told her yesterday so how could it NOT be true.
She was surfing and came across the site, submitted a picture and they called.
Same person, Heather Duback.
Yes, these kid's need to take caution and research first before they do anything!
Thanks!!!

Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!

I've never heard of them and based on the feedback on this board, you should obviously avoid these people.

Infinate Talent...they are all over the place with scam reviews. Just Google Infinate Talent Scams like CSilvera said in the beginning.
