The first class that comes to mind is Ron Michaelson's. He's located very close to you. http://members.cox.net/probly1/index.html Our family has taken from him, as well a other OC residents we know. He's a great guy and extremely experienced. But, even after taking his classes, most serious OC actors continue their training in LA, which also helps a bit more with making LA connections and furthering their careers. For theater training, there is South Coast Repertory http://members.cox.net/probly1/index.html and Laguna Playhouse (to age 17) http://www.lagunaplayhouse.com/education/workshopsAlso, Orange Coast College in Coast Mesa, Golden West College in Huntington Beach and Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, ALL have excellent drama departments. I hope others add to this thread with more choices for OC. I know there are other classes around, I just don't know which ones are the most reputable.

There are many great acting classes out there, it's finding one that fits with you and what you want to do. Atlantic Acting Company has a good starter program, very structured. Or Susan Slavin Actors and Singers Academy delves into Emotions. If You're needing help along the way I'm a Certified Life Coach. The Method I work with is a practical and holistic way to help people whom are Entering or Exiting the Performing Arts. Here's my Website if you'd like more info. Good Luck! www.NYCLifeCoach.com
