Hello all -

Was wondering what info to include along with an emailed headshot? This is in regards to an "open" casting, i.e. can submit photos online to a casting agency for consideration. Should you list your height, weight, etc? It did not specifically request a resume or any info besides contact numbers. Thoughts?

Well alot of actors i met always had their resume behind their headshot or their profile stats such as height, weight, eye colorm hair color voice range and age range etc.

Be careful about who you are submitting a headshot to. Are they a reputable casting director or casting web site? Any casting director that does not ask you to include a resume sends up a red flag. Be sure to google who you are submitting to and if you don't get enough information, you can share the name here and someone will probably be able to help you find out if they are reputable or not. It never hurts to be careful.

Thanks minadin and Mominthebiz. Mom - It is just for an extra casting so they didn't ask for much info. It is a casting company I have checked out a bit. Definitely good to keep in mind for the future though, thanks for your post!
