Preview classes are free. They are mostly 'commercials' for the ACTUAL classes, which are pretty expensive.

I've never been to a free class that wasn't a total sales pitch... and I did go to a Sam Christiansen one long ago. I declined to sign up.

Only three posts, me thinkist Sam is advertising on this message board.

i had an agent several months ago that actually REQUIRED we attend this free workshop, but we would get "extra points" if we signed up for the actual class afterwards.

i doubt there were any kickback schemes involved here (you know how you can get that feeling, you know when it's scammy, vs when you know it's just someone who really advocates it, even tho it's not your cup of tea).

but i never went.

besides, backstage is doing this on tuesday. i'm going to THAT one. esp because i'm interested in learning about The Network, assuming he'll talk about it at all.

you signed up to advertise (which is against the board's TOS you agreed to). this post was your first. that puts you in the category of someone to watch out for, which is probably what iceman was getting at.

but the other 2 of us didn't say anything, just that it's really a waste of time sales pitch.
