Where does a newly 25yr old from NJ, with no real experience whatsoever start. These replies might be the ultimate decider.

Thanx in advance.

How about telling us how you came to acting?

You can't have "no experience whatsoever".

This state of absolute ignorance needs a lot of work and a political party membership.

You don't want to tell us you're already that perfect...

Smiler

Oh, I can be very childish, if I push it.

But, honestly, just tell us the experience about why you want to act. That's a very important experience, and tells us where you are coming from. So we - even inexperienced ones like me - can discuss what your direction could be.

I mean, you need some acting training, but you knew that already. I saw your name on the "who's online" list more than once.

1. Caught a documentary on Marlon Brando and was strangely fascinated. (Wanting to play in the NBA was the only dream I'd ever had.)

2. Which lead me to IMDB.com to learn more about Brando. Ultimately, leading me to read more bios along with personal quotes from all of the other actors and actresses.

2.5. Saw Disturbia on cable. Watching Shia LaBeouf intrigued me and I didn't know why. He flicked that "I can do that" switch in me. (Later found out the same thing happened to him.) This was before I really knew who he was.

3. As a result, I got my hands on Stella Adler's book because I wanted to know more about where Brando got his ideas and outlooks on acting. I actually liked the book the more I read it. Her interpretation on acting was genius to me. The views of Adler and Brando were the way I would think acting should be. It was great to hear a science behind acting.

4. Here I am.

Just don't be too serious about it.

There isn't ONE truth.

So, you'd better change our name into "a truth".

Believe me, it will save you lots of trouble.

Relax, and take things as they are without forgetting what fascinates you.

Take interest intstead of truth.

Your truly

Truthie

Ahh, yeah. Yo, its just a name. Two words can't describe or define me. That is why typed words are funny to me. People can take them out of context whether good or bad.

"TheTruth" of the matter is that there are many truths.

Don't worry, I am very relaxed.

Take interest along with truth, not instead of.

Anyone, feel free to comment.

Not afraid of the truth....(even though there is more than one)
