I submitted my headshot/resume to Daniel Hoff and they want me to come in and do a commercial read this Friday. I have no idea what to expect! Can someone who has been through this process before fill me in? Thank you so much!

My DS went to the meeting for the youth department so I'm not sure if it is the same. It is kind of like a open call where you go in and do a commercial reading. They will tape you, and contact you if they are interested.

Put "Daniel Hoff" in the search bar, and you get a lot of info.

Good Luck on you Meeting!

Exactly what Godzilla said. It's an on-camera audition. Get there early so you have time to practice and get comfortable with the commercial copy.

One of the easiest auditions you'll ever go on. Very laid back and relaxed. Super cool people. If it doesn't go well this time they will ask you to come back every Friday and you'll be able to go and audition every Friday. Get there EARLY. Honestly like an hour early and go over those line and know them good. You'll be reading a short commercial. Usually it's either an old Pepsi or Jack in the Box commercial. Most likely 3 or 4 lines. Good luckSmiler
