I'm taking an acting class. We are doing an exercise that involves doing the repetition activity while doing the Indepedent Activity. I need a physical activity, difficult in task but can be completed - can't be tedious, and must have a realistic reason for doing it. One example would be unknotting a bunch of knots in a necklace. I can't really think of any other ideas for the "physical activity" - what have you done in the past?

Laundry.

Make the bed (if you have props in the class)
I remember back in a class I had to do the same thing that your doing now. I brought my head shot and resumes and actually stapled them in the class as part of the exercise with doing the scene.

- build a house of cards
- sign your name then try to copy the signature exactly, only twice as large
- stick a needle into something (a block of woood?) and then try to thread it by bringing the thread towards the hole
- buy a detailed model and try to build it
- take a piece of cloth and sew an intricate pattern into it
- if you do martial arts or yoga, assume some complex balancing position and then try to transition into another one while still balancing
