Hi everyone. I'm Kerrie i'm new to this website. Well i'm another person moving to LA next yr March/April to pursue my acting career. I'm 23, i was born and brought up in London and moved to Ireland last year with my family. I want to move to LA for acting, i dont have any experience thou did a bit of training in my teens. I really want to get back into it, its the one thing i love. I am planning to move next spring gives me some time to save an plan for it. I have looked up some acting classes in an around LA on the web but can only do so much from this side so can wait til i get there. I know people move to LA all the time to be actors/models etc, thou i was wondering if anyone like me whos a beginner is moving next yr too?? I'l prob be going out there on my own and bit worried about how to meet new people and make friends. any advice.. kerrie xx

Do you have a work visa? It's extremely difficult to get one once you're in the country.

no i dont yet? silly question but how do i go about that. I thought if i was doing acting training i might just get a student visa?

From what I've seen, very few schools provide student visas... and the one's that do are often not the best. There might be SOME good one's that do, so don't think I'm trashing any school that does, but many do not.
