Yes, I am ranting as when you move here from another country, you realize how blindingly messed up things are and can be more objective than the others are who live here and years ago adapted to ignoring the issues plaguing the nation. I rant because I CARE so much and can see with dazzlingly clarity what needs to be done. We need a person in power, someone who has lived like us, who has suffered like us, who has been broke and unemployed like us. To understand society you need to be a part of society so that you can have empathy for all people and work to ensure equal living standards for all. If you grow up rich and protected in your little bubble, you cannot know what real suffering is like therefore you do not care or wish to change it as it does not affect you. These people are not what this country needs. In short, we need someone who actually gives a shit!!!! About US- not a paycheck!!!!
