Hey everyone, I'm coming out to LA next week to look at some apartments and planning to move at the beginning of April. I've looked all over and there are general statements about apartments and jobs, but nothing specific. You always see people recommending craigslist or a certain city (hollywood, culver city, burbank) whatever. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any specific places that they've had experience with or that they personally know is a good place to live. I'm looking for a small studio w/bathroom and at least a kitchenette. Also, as far as jobs go, what do you do to pay the bills (if it's not currently acting). Or where do you go to find flexible positions?
