So far I am not impressed with John Stewart's hosting... though I will say he's better then Ellen was last year. But it's still early.

thought he was great, funny, smooth, not too long on anything, kept good pace

I didn't watch until the very end as I had to leave, but I saw most of the show, and I stand by my early assessment. I was not impressed.

As for the winners, I was disapointed that "There Will Be Blood" didn't win bast picture... my second choice would have been "Juno"... also didn't win.

But at least Daniel Day Lewis did win.

I enjoyed it. He is a very natural comedian and he had me laughing.
Personally I wasn't too overall impressed with the Academy Awards as a whole this year. It was all a bit blah.
I didn't have problems with John Stewart though as he did an excellent job.
