There was once an acting forum that went by the name of the Wolfden. I haven't been to it in many months, so I clicked my bookmarked link, and surely enough, my browser said the page couldn't be found. I had many friends there, and was disappointed to see it go, would anyone know if there is a new website for it? I would like to post here if the Wolfden is gone permanently. Thanks for any help in advanced.

The archives were at wolfesden.net, I think, but I believe they're dead now.

Some posters at least lurk on the Showfax board. Bonnie Gillespie has stopped posting there, but still has a column on the Showfax site. Probably some are on sagactor.com.

Many were on celluloidcurtain.com, but that seems to have disappeared. This seems to be associated with it:

I just ran into Lorenda Starfelt two days ago - she and Brad just completed a feature. And Ashley McCarthy just ran her version of Hollywood Happy Hour, with a number of ex-Denizens there.

Otherwise, if you do a search on specific names, you'll find LinkedIn, MySpace, other such sites for different former inmates - uh, members.

Why did Bonnie stop posting there? Also IS SHE still doing HHH?

According to one of her columns, she just wanted to cut back on her posting in general.

As far as I know, she's handed off HHH to Ashley.

I wonder how "happy" the Hollywood Happy Hour ever was. The only people who go are the very cantankerous, abusive posters who kiss Bonnie. Bonnie is an egomaniac. A charisematic cult leader. I went to one event with my wife and that was it for me thank you very much.

I heard about wolf den. It was a grouchy place at best. The people there were just mean and hurtful.

Those same people are out there today with their blogs. But now everybody has a blog so nobody cares about their long ass bio or frances "the pretencious ramblings of a society diva." Nobody gives a rats arse that Steven "BOOKED!" Nobody cares about ethan L's snark. He's now Bonnie's assistant. They charge actors to be in a showcase.

The only people who seem to care about the Bonnie cult of "working actors" are the players themselves.

Beware of the Bonnie cult, the click. Don't bring back wolf. Enough of these carnival acts using the internet to make themselves look like players in the biz.

Anybody whose anybody in the biz doesn't even know who these people, these "working actors" or their fearless leader are.

As for any "Bonnie cult", the only "worship" I've seen directed towards Bonnie is gratitude for her very helpful responses and the information on her blog (which, being hosted on Showfax, probably gets a goodly number of hits actually.)

I'm not sure what motivates your own breathtakingly virulent take on a group that's been gone for several years now, but the last time I saw such nasty comments about Bonnie it turned out they were coming from PC's at the office of Michael Zanuck, whose own business has not exactly been praised on these boards.

And there are of course other people out there who haven't been too happy about actors sharing information about them on these boards.

I wouldn't say I was virulent. Just pretty accurate.

I'm not attacking her, as much as her followers. She has a following of egotistical not so nice people. Somebody above said it, Wolf den was a mean place.

I'm just agreeing. And adding that with Bonnie's people a few other net sites have been mean too. Even Bon herself has a mean streak.

I'm not sure what the cryptic comments are about. I never even heard of Michael Zanuck. But even if I was precisely who you may be suggesting from his office, whatever about that. My comments are not less truthful no matter who I am.

I will say again, I'm not attacking Miss G. I'm just giving light to the Wolf site mentioned and what it was about and what became of it. A mean place with a gang of people centered around Sterling and her as well.

Actor sites came out of that site and the same people all gathered around her again and kiss up to her. They are a clan who doesn't respond well to others not part of their clan. Then she started the HHH and the clan furthered their bond, the cult.

It really seems like a cult to me. I call it the Bonnie cult. She anointed herself head ("moderator") of all the boards and actors hungry for work fell in line trying to suck up to her. She has lots of followers, lots of ego, lots of people who are not friendly, not kind.

I don't know the person "Stephon." I hope I spelled it to your liking this time. I'm not attacking him either. But I read his blog once years back at a time when I was curious to learn what a blog was. Glad you are inspired by him. I'm not. I find his sporadic "BOOKED!" posts to be obnoxious. He serves himself. All of the Bonnie cult members do. Have you ever seen Frances' blog?

Just giving a face to that Den and the click it gave birth to. They are very mean and ego type people.

Best advice I ever got in life was from a college friend. She said Go where it's warm.

That's why I never returned to HHH and I don't care to be around the cult or its members.

Eithen & i used to get along good untill he turned on me too, whatever, that's just messed up.

I thought that Wolfesden was pretty cool and had good info.
As for Bonnie, while she has never made any effort to help me personally, overall she seems to be a very positive and helpful person.
Her column/archive is a wealth of info and good advice.

The den was one angry place. Doesn't surprise me that one of the former den posters is now arrested for stabbing his girlfriend. He's in the 40 year old virgin movie.
