We, as parents, are well aware of the importance of our teachers who teach and program our children. We also know how important it is for our children to play with good-thinking children growing up.
Sen. Barack Obama has grown up with the teaching of very angry, militant white and black people: the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers and Rev. Michael Pfleger. We cannot say we are not affected by teachers who are militant and angry. We know too well that we become like them, and Mr. Obama will run this country in their mindset.
The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way. It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America.
The Democrats have targeted young people, knowing how easy it is to bring forth whatever is needed to program their minds. I know this process well. I was caught up in the hysteria during the Vietnam era, which was brought about through Marxist propaganda underlying the so-called peace movement. The radicals of that era were successful in giving the communists power to bring forth the killing fields and slaughter 2.5 million people in Cambodia and South Vietnam. Did they stop the war, or did they bring the war to those innocent people? In the end, they turned their backs on all the horror and suffering they helped create and walked away.
Those same leaders who were in the streets in the '60s are very powerful today in their work to bring down the Iraq war and to attack our president, and they have found their way into our schools. William Ayers is a good example of that.
Thank God, today, we have a strong generation of young soldiers who know exactly who they are and what they must do to protect our freedom and our democracy. And we have the leadership of Gen. David Petraeus, who has brought hope and stability to Iraq and prevented the terrorists from establishing a base in that country. Our soldiers are lifting us to an example of patriotism at a time when we've almost forgotten who we are and what is at stake.
If Mr. Obama had his way, he would have pulled our troops from Iraq years ago and initiated an unprecedented bloodbath, turning over that country to the barbarianism of our enemies. With what he has openly stated about his plans for our military, and his lack of understanding about the true nature of our enemies, there's not a cell in my body that can accept the idea that Mr. Obama can keep us safe from the terrorists around the world, and from Iran, which is making great strides toward getting the atomic bomb. And while a misleading portrait of Mr. Obama is being perpetrated by a media controlled by the Democrats, the Obama camp has sent out people to attack the greatness of Sen. John McCain, whose suffering and courage in a Hanoi prison camp is an American legend.
Gen. Wesley Clark, who himself has shame upon him, having been relieved of his command, has done their bidding and become a lying fool in his need to demean a fellow soldier and a true hero.
This is a perilous time, and more than ever, the world needs a united and strong America. If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and our country will be weakened in every way.

JON VOIGHT: My concerns for America
OP-ED
We, as parents, are well aware of the importance of our teachers who teach and program our children. We also know how important it is for our children to play with good-thinking children growing up.
Sen. Barack Obama has grown up with the teaching of very angry, militant white and black people: the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers and Rev. Michael Pfleger. We cannot say we are not affected by teachers who are militant and angry. We know too well that we become like them, and Mr. Obama will run this country in their mindset. Im amazed that Jon has the unique foresight that Ms. Cleo can't even predict. We've all had mean teachers at some point in our life. That doesn't mean we're going to grow up to be the next charles manson. If Jon was so wise in his forethought, do you think he would've done "Anaconda"?
The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages This cracks me up. Its funny that the republican party has been so quick to prey on the vulnerability of the average "god fearing american" by using the same tactics as the bible itself: F E A R. Talk about propaganda!, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way. It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America. Demoralize a country? What GOOD has Bush done as a president? Ignored a nation in crisis (Hurricane Katrina), stole elections (c'mon, we know), stolen american rights (see patriot act/ and homeland security), put the us in the largest deficit ever, lost billions of dollars in a failed war.....
So you're saying the cry for peace is what brings suffering to millions? Jon, stick to acting in low rate films!
Those same leaders who were in the streets in the '60s are very powerful today in their work to bring down the Iraq war and to attack our president, and they have found their way into our schools. William Ayers is a good example of that. You're saying democrats will make bombs and blow people up? Bill Ayers was a radical activist who wanted racial equality you moron. In actuality, he fought for what he believed in...something Bush is doing, only A) he has kids fighting for him, and B) he's fighting for wealth and personal gain. He doesn't care about the people, and neither does McCain.
Thank God, today, we have a strong generation of young soldiers who know exactly who they are and what they must do to protect our freedom and our democracy Ahhh yes, we have a "strong generation of young soldiers who know exactly" how to take orders from idiots in charge. They are not protecting our freedom. If you want to protect our freedom, bring them back here. How the hell are they protecting us, out in the middle east? . And we have the leadership of Gen. David Petraeus another fool who can't give a straight answer to any of the questions given to him. I love the General Betray-us article. So true, so true., who has brought hope and stability to Iraq and prevented the terrorists from establishing a base in that country Wow, true propaganda at work here. Man, Bush must be great at giving head, because Jon is selling it hard!. Our soldiers are lifting us to an example of patriotism at a time when we've almost forgotten who we are and what is at stake. Oil is at stake. And you're contributing to killing our children for it.
Obama can keep us safe from the terrorists around the world, and from Iran, which is making great strides toward getting the atomic bomb Where did you get this info? Do you work for the Pentagon?. And while a misleading portrait of Mr. Obama is being perpetrated by a media controlled by the Democrats, the Obama camp has sent out people to attack the greatness of Sen. John McCain, whose suffering and courage in a Hanoi prison camp is an American legend. oh sniff sniff and boo hoo. McCain is an old bag of dust who doesn't belong in the white house. He can't even remember who we're at war with! I love how he ends with the pathetic notion that McCain is a "legend". No man, Bob Marley was a legend, and I don't believe he would take us to war if he was president either.
Funny, the value of the american dollar is at its lowest right now. Hmmm, how will it get weaker with someone who actually has a brain in our white house?

I for one and ashamed I have the same alma mater as this fool.
Well put Mr. Voight, and thank you for posting this Flying V! I see Mr. Avidactors displays the ageist, racist and anti-military tactics for which liberals are well known (protecting us in the middle east, hmmm, let me count how many attacks we've had in the US since 9/11/01. ... . . get back to you later on that).
God bless the American people who can see through the socialist Barak Hussein Obama, a man with no leadership qualities who has fooled the Democrats into seeing him as a Black Christian when he's actually an Arab Muslim, as well as a person of tolerance, and a supporter of the US economy, among other things.

How do nike's actually taste Anita? Just wondering.and anti-military tactics for which liberals are well known (protecting us in the middle east, hmmm, let me count how many attacks we've had in the US since 9/11/01. ... . . get back to you later on that). Dont even get me started on 9/11 and what a fraud that was! bush made billions off of that deal!
God bless the American people who can see through the socialist Barak Hussein Obama Hmmm hinting towards that racism again I see. Way to show hypocracy!, a man with no leadership qualities who has fooled the Democrats into seeing him as a Black Christian Why do the republican fools revert back to religion when speaking of political debate?!?! What does religion have to do with politics??? Separation of church and state. Our nation was founded on this value. its a shame the republican vultures never got that memo, or actually they got it, crumpled it up, burned it behind the shed in the backyard and threatened anyone who did read it that if they didn't keep their mouths shut they'd be killed by terrorists.when he's actually an Arab Muslim, as well as a person of tolerance, and a supporter of the US economy, among other things.
Anita, seriously, some people fall foolishly into a position to make themselves look stupid, but you seem to be doing it purposefully!
Man, there's so much more I'd like to say, but stupid people can't be molded into thinkers. Anita, enjoy living for at least the next four years knowing that a smart president will be in office, and McCain will be somewhere in a retirement home figuring out how to work the remote.

It was my pleasure to post it Anita, thanks for your response. I agree with you.
And we definitely need more Republicans in the entertainment industry.
Yes, we have not been attacked on U.S. soil since 9/11, and we removed Saddam and the Taliban, we have helped millions and millions of people in Iraq and Afghanistan, we have taken the fight to the terrorists and we have been fighting them in the Middle East instead of fighting them here, the surge in Iraq worked, we are winning in Iraq, and we are making progress.
Also of note is that the real problems with the economy seemed to have begun after the Democrats took control of Congress in 2006.
The main thing that is hurting the economy is the high gasoline and diesel prices, and the Republicans are the only ones who see the answer is that we need to drill for more oil here within the USA, including in ANWR and off-shore. The USA has a lot of oil, and we need to drill here. As soon as Bush announced that we need to drill here, and removed the ban on off-shore drilling, the price of oil began to go down, and if Congress would remove the ban on off-shore drilling, and if we can open up ANWR to drilling, the prices will come down a lot more.
McCain will get my vote, and Republicans also need to regain control of Congress. Pelosi is a nightmare.

You DO realize that any oil drilled in these protected offshore and environmentally sensitive areas won't even be available for use for another TEN YEARS, don't you?
And you DO realize that even if we began drilling heavily TODAY, it wouldn't reduce prices at the gas pump even ONE PENNY, don't you?
What we should begin to do NOW is to put all our combined resources into GREEN TECHNOLOGY -- solar, wind and water. ONLY this technology will ever completely free us from reliance on oil, worldwide. Oh, but I forgot. Republicans don't believe in GLOBAL WARMING.
COAL, you say? Coal is the number one producer of ACID RAIN on earth. Not to mention that coal mining interests are permanently destroying entire mountaintops and adjacent ecosystems in the process. But who needs mountains, soil, rivers and clean water?
NUCLEAR, you say? Perhaps you don't recall a city called, CHERNOBYL? You may not remember it because IT DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE. IT'S UNINHABITABLE. If you're dumb enough to believe that nuclear energy is SAFE or CHEAP, do a cost vs. kilowatt-hour cost analysis and see what you get. And by the way, if you believe the government when they tell you that storing all that spent nuclear waste is just as "safe," I enthusiastically invite you to let them bury some of it in your backyard (when they tried that in Nevada, the Las Vegas city government almost had them horse-whipped). The "up side" is that your lawn will be totally weed-free for the next 10,000 years.
Republicans had their shot for two full terms and they blew it, in spite of what Bill O'Reilly says.
In today's news, three Al Qaeda female suicide bombers killed one hundred innocent civilians, critically wounding three hundred more.
And oh, yeah. "The surge is working."
P.S.- Dear "V for Victory," have you served your three or four or five tours of duty in Iraq yet? I understand that the Marines are still looking for "A Few Good Men." And not to worry, my patriotic friend. There's always Afghanistan.

As soon as we open up ANWR to drilling, and remove the ban for off-shore drilling, the price for gasoline and diesel will come down, and as the oil comes into the market the prices will fall more.
We also need to build more oil refineries in the USA, we have not built a new refinery in 30 years because they have all been blocked. We need new refineries, and the American people know this.
And I support green energy. I support running the public transportation buses on natural gas. I support converting diesel trucks over to natural gas. I support running cars on natural gas, such as the taxi-cabs in San Diego. Natural gas burns much cleaner and is better for the environment. I also support wind power, and hydro, and solar, and geo-thermal, etc. I also want high speed trains here in the USA, we must improve mass transit here.
I have mixed feelings on nuclear power, and I was living in Nevada when we all protested against storing nuclear waste at Yucca Mountain. But, people claim that the technology has improved with nuclear energy, and France is powered almost completely by nuclear energy. They say that nuclear energy is safer now than it was in the past. I hope it is safer, especially if we decide to build more nuclear power plants in the USA.
On the issue of coal, they say they now have clean-coal technology, to use coal in a clean way. Progress has been made on using coal, and coal is plentiful in the USA.
On the issue of global warming; I believe that the climate cycles, I believe it is natural, I do not believe that humans caused global warming. I want clean air, I want clean soil, I want clean water, I want lots of forests, and all of that; but I do not believe that humans caused global warming.
And there have been times when I was struggling when I did consider joining the military. I considered joining the Coast Guard, to do their PR films and stuff. And also the Army has a theatre group that goes around entertaining the troops, from what I was told. There are jobs in the military for people with acting and filmmaking skills, and also for writers, etc. But, I am color-blind, and the military will not take one if one is color-blind. And, I am an optimist and I always felt like my big break was going to happen at any time, so I did not feel too bad that the military would not accept me. Also, I have always done charity and humanitarian work, and I will continue to do so, and I can serve my country and planet in other ways besides the military, and I may even go into politics eventually and become a public servant.
By the way, Demi Moore did a great job in "A Few Good Men," I think it was her best performance.
Oh, one more thing on oil, Brazil just made some huge new oil discoveries, which will also help to lower gasoline and diesel prices. Oil prices will indeed come down.
Bush has done a good job, and I am very happy that we did not have Gore or Kerry as President. And I will vote for McCain, as well as for Republicans for Congress.

I haven't fully formed all of my opinons on everything that is going on, but there are things I agree and disagree with in these posts.
a) I am neither fully Republican nor am I fully Democratic, and I think it is stupid to say "the damn Democrats did this" or the snotty Republicans did that". b) I don't like Obama either, and I agree he has socialist ideals that have not worked in other countries i.e. his national healthcare plan. It failed horribly in Canada, why would it work here? The list for organ donors is already spread thin, how thin do you think it will get when there will be millions of people on a list with only a dozen organs to donate? c) Obama's phrase is that he wants change to happen. You could probably ask someone off the street why they want to vote for him, they'll say change, but couldn't tell you anything specifically they want changed. d) I think going green to save the environment is good to do, but we as people haven't done any huge "Inconvenient Truth" type harm. It would just be good to take better care of the environment. e) I'm not saying I agree with McCain 100%, but I definitely trust him to run the country alot more than Obama.

The fact that you actually believe that George W. Bush has been an effective president would be more than enough for any reasonable man to doubt your sanity, "V for Victory." However, this right wing fairy tale is the most ludicrous denial of what's occurring to our country and this planet under this Republican administration than I can stomach.
You say "you support green energy," yet you don't even realize the horrific environmental cost from scarring and plundering the earth for coal or understand the misery of those who labor in the blackness digging like tunnel rats for their corporate masters. You claim that you "want clean soil and clean water," BUT YOU DON'T WANT TO DO A DAMN THING ABOUT IT. What you call 'good business' I call the rape and pillage of the natural world, and all who profit by it more dangerous and greedy than any inner city drug lord could ever imagine. And all this -- the drilling, the corporate tax breaks and farm subsidies (talk about "SOCIALISM"?), the governmental corruption at the highest level, a trillion dollar, illegal and immoral war based upon lies and deceit, Osama Bin Laden still on the loose, an economy near collapse, millions losing their homes due to unethical lending practices, even more losing their jobs from outsourcing and the Recession, no plan whatsoever for Social Security, the illegal immigration problem running totally unchecked, turning Bill Clinton's national SURPLUS into national DEBT, banks closing in record numbers, the continuing social and economic debacle of post-Katrina, the forceful removal of nearly all of Bush's entire high level cabinet due to gross incompetence and legal malfeasance of nearly every description, Haliburton raking in billions from war profiteering, out-of-control gas and food prices, runaway inflation, the near total elimination of our basic civil rights under the so-called "Patriot Act," INCLUDING the only major terrorist attack on American soil (also during George W. Bush's watch), all the while as giant oil companies enjoy record profits with his blessing and protection, AND YOU HAVE THE BALLS TO SAY, "BUSH HAS DONE A GOOD JOB"????
Here is today's article regarding the "non-existent" global warming of which you spoke:
Giant chunks break off Canadian ice shelf By David Ljunggren Tue Jul 29, 1:30 PM ET
OTTAWA (Reuters) - Giant sheets of ice totaling almost eight square miles broke off an ice shelf in the Canadian Arctic last week and more could follow later this year, scientists said on Tuesday.
Temperatures in large parts of the Arctic have risen far faster than the global average in recent decades, a development that experts say is linked to global warming.
The ice broke away from the shelf on Ward Hunt Island, an small island just off giant Ellesmere Island in one of the northernmost parts of Canada.
It was the largest fracture of its kind since the nearby Ayles ice shelf -- which measured 25 square miles -- broke away in 2005.
Scientists had already identified deep cracks in the Ward Hunt shelf, which measures around 155 square miles. The shelf is one of five along Ellesmere Island in the northern Arctic.
"Because the break-off occurred between two large parallel cracks they're thinking more could go this summer before the freeze sets in," said Trudy Wohlleben of the Canadian Ice Service.
Asked to be more specific, she told Reuters: "More could be a piece as large as the Ayles ice shelf."
Ellesmere Island was once home to a single enormous ice shelf totaling around 3,500 square miles. All that is left of that shelf today are five much smaller shelves that together cover just under 400 square miles.
"The break-off is consistent with other changes we've seen in the area, such as the reduction in the amount of sea ice, the retreat of the glaciers and the break-up of other ice shelves," Wohlleben said.
She said a likely reason for the shelf breaking away was a strong wind from the south.
Warwick Vincent, director of the Centre for Northern Studies at Laval University in Quebec, said much of the remaining Ward Hunt ice shelf is now in a vulnerable state.
"It underscores the fact that each year we're now crossing new thresholds in environmental change in the High Arctic, and of course our concern in the longer term is that these may signal the onset of serious change at all latitudes, much further to the south, for example," he told Reuters.
Derek Mueller, an Arctic ice shelf specialist at Trent University in Ontario, said he was concerned by the rapidity of changes in the High Arctic over the last few years.
"It's a bit of a wake-up call for those people who aren't yet affected by climate change that there are places on earth that are, and the same could be true for them (these people) if you fast-forward a decade or two or three," he said.
Mueller initially estimated that 1.5 square miles of ice had broken off the shelf but increased that figure to eight square miles after studying the data more closely.
"Whatever has kept this ice shelf in balance for 3,000 years is no longer keeping it in balance," he told Reuters, saying he too would not be surprised to see more ice breaking away from the Ward Hunt shelf this year.
Wohlleben said the ice shelves, which contained unique ecosystems that had yet to be studied, would not be replaced because they took so long to form.
"Once they've broken off they're gone," she said.
BUT THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS GLOBAL WARMING, RIGHT "Flying V"???
Go back to sleep...

Ah man is there anyway to wade into this without getting s**t on your shoes? No, but here it goes.
The high oil prices have nothing to do with supply and demand. CNN broke a story that didn't even last one day about a month ago. The found that the big banks and hedge funds are buying oil overseas at 5 dollars a barrel and selling them to the US at the market value of whatever it is that day. What's it up to now, 140 a barrel. In the US the banks have to put 50% down and is regulated to prevent market manipulation, but that's not so in oh lets say dubai. Check out some articles on how fast Dubai has grown in the past decade to see where your money is going.
It's social engineering. So if the price of oil has nothing to do with supply and demand how is drilling in the ANR going to drop the price when it is allready being artificially inflated in the first place.
Here's what's left of the story. I can't find it on the net anymore. They squashed the story pretty quick.
Pelosi did send a bill to ICE telling them to go after the guys and they declined. Stating that they have no jurisdiction in prosecuting or enforcing US laws on a foriegn country. If they were doing this in the US they would be in prison, do it overseas and the world is your oyster.
so long as we have a rigged system to keep gas prices up it doesn't matter how much oil there is.
