Im just curious to see how much money people are making while pursuing their acting career. Me I make around 1,700 a month and I live in Hollywood. I do customer service and I am 19 y.o. How much do you make and are you able to pursue acting comfortably with your income?

Honestly, you won't get many answers, especially from people who post under their real name. It would be insane for most people to post their income on an Internet board.

I don't recommend saying where your day job is, either, for most people. Years ago there was a woman going after everyone even vaguely connected with one guy she had a beef with on a board, and she actually called at least one employer to be sure he knew his consultant was posting on the Internet during work hours.

If Bush hadn't screwed up our economy so much, I'd be able to save money! But gas prices have gone slightly past Jerry Springer insanity. I can only imagine how bad it is in L.A. In DC last week (I drove home for the first time in 3 months) it was a whopping $3.56 low test. They have the high test @ $3.99. Bastards.

AT&T even though I hate what they stand for, they pay very well. Also the job is very flexible. I was in the cell phone sales dept.
