If you had to pick a relative to sacrifice to some greedy deity, whom would it be, and why?

How many do we get to choose? Can we hack a whole limb off the family tree?

I belong to an organization that hired an insurance guy to create an actuarial report that told us, based on ages, occupations, locations, lifestyles, etc how many members we could expect to die in a given area each year for ten years. It's scary. His numbers were correct within 2% for every year. We recently got the report for the next ten years, and when I presented it to some of the local members, the almost uniform response was, "Can we submit a list of nominees?"
