This is the worst thing I ever read in my life, and I thought it was what horror stories were made of.

I'm so pissed off, disgusted, disturbed, depressed right now.

There's this girl in Japan who was killed in the most horrifying ways imaginable. I am not sure if you know about it, but I just found out today. She's really beautiful, http://profile.ak.facebook.com...04786470334_6113.jpg

This is why.

16 year old Junko Furuta in 88-89 was killed by group of teenage guys, and the main guy for ONLY 8 years (released in 1999) in a juvenile prison. I was shock, and I believe they should serve life sentence the whole group along with the parents (they knew but didn't stop it). The other guys probably only had less than 8 years.

The parents later to do a civil suit against them for the short sentence, but the lawyer drop it because there was no case to be made. Also when the mother found out about her daughter she fainted, and was later receive psychiatric treatment (I would too!)

This is what wikipedia saids about the crimes, "According to their statements at their trial, the four of them raped her, beat her with metal rods and golf clubs, introduced foreign objects including a light bulb into her vagina, made her eat cockroaches and drink her own urine, inserted fireworks into her anus and set them off, forced Furuta to masturbate, cut her nipple with pliers, dropped dumbbells onto her stomach, and burned her with cigarettes and lighters. One of the burnings was punishment for attempting to call the police. At one point her injuries were so severe that according to one of the boys it took more than an hour for her to crawl downstairs to use the bathroom. They also related that "possibly a hundred different people" knew that Furuta had been imprisoned there, but it is not clear if this means they visited the house at different times while she was imprisoned there, or themselves either raped or abused her. When the boys refused to let her leave, she begged them on several occasions to "kill (her) and get it over with"." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Junko_Furuta

And I found this other website, with description on what she did day for day, http://epitomeko.multiply.com/journal/item/179

The way I found this out was because they made a movie about it, here's the trailer.

I just want to go to Japan right now, I am that pissed that they are released so early!

And here's the guy who did this to her, look how ugly he is! Ugly inside and outside, I am just pissed.

I'm "pissed" too, M.

But as horrific as this crime is, it's certainly nothing new. This is the human condition.

Things like this occur every day-- in America, in Africa, in Iraq... all over the world, twenty-four, seven.

And as to the light sentence that the court meted out... look with happened with O.J. Was his crime any less heinous, any less violent? Or what about that crazed psycho who chopped off both arms of a little girl and left her for dead? The courts let him out of prison after serving only ten years for "good behavior" and he immediately went out and hacked a prostitute to death with a butcher knife.

What can be done to prevent these abuses? I don't think anyone has the answers.

I never used words like pissed, but that's the only word that seem right.

I think this is why a place called hell is for especially for people like this who get a light sentence. But I can only hope not trying to make this religious.

Does not seem right to have such crimes happened. I bet he's walking around like it never happened.

Mystique, agreed. That is utterly horrific and I don't have to tell you what I think about it.

But you should know that is VERY strange in Japan as they have extremely harsh penalties, far more so than here where scumbags have rights because of your damned, antiquated consititution that sorely needs a rewrite.

In Japan, if you are found gulity of murder and are to be punished by capital punishment, you will get it within a matter of two or so years. Not like here where in California they sit there for 20 years. I repeat- this is VERY unusual for Japan. They have very strict laws and are a far better behaved society.

Don't worry- karma is a bitch. I have seen it many times......in action.

But if we get on a treadmill together you are going to get off first or I'm going to die. It's really that simple. I'm not going to be outworked." -Will Smith
