I'm out of the loop but I was training one of my clients and she told me about the urban legends with THREE MEN AND A BABY where the ghost of a child who killed himself with a shotgun appears in a scene behind a curtain and another legend where A munchikin hung himself on set.
Now this scared me a bit but after watching this constantly, I have to say that it looks like a freakin bird.
The 3Men and a baby I heard was a cutout of Ted Dannson and was put on set by accident; it scared the %&%%^ out of me. To this day, as the big movie buff that I am, I NEVER SAW THE WIZARD OF OZ or 3 MEN AND A BABY AND I DONT PLAN ON WATCHING THREE JAGOFFS TAKING CARE OF A BRAT. I saw the Wiz but something about the Wizard of Oz freaked me out to the point where I never watched it.
Another Legend I heard about this freaky movie is if you play PINK FLOYD'S DARK SIDE OF THE MOON album at the same time watching the movie, it plays like a soundtrack. See...FREAKY.
Also for your entertainment, this is for all the GIRLS who love THE LITTLE MERMAID
My dad worked for MGM for 23 years. He had mentioned this from his earlier years at the studio (no I wasn't born yet - LOL), when I was young as one of the many crew accidents on set. In later years, the story changed to having it be the director's son, but the director didn't have a son. The latest, thanks to youtube and people's imagination, is that it's a munchkin, but if you look closely, the figure is to long to be a little person/munchkin. http://thewizardofoz.info/faq12.html#22
The 3 Men and a Baby thing is a life size cutout of Ted Danson.
Don't you just love those legends!?!
As for Poltergeist, too bad those aren't legends. Little Heather died before they finished filming P3. They used a photo double for the remaining scenes, not showing the actor's face.
- MIB - If you can dream, you can do. Making it happen is up to you.
