It's sore but okay- thanks for asking.

I went to a PT and he said it is a lumbar strain and that I got off easy as it could have been worse. It will heal completely in about 4-6 weeks he said and in the meantime I can still train but need to scale it back and not do any lower back work or any thing that causes pain. Use common sense and judgement basically.

So, I am thrilled as I want to compete next year in a fitness competition and now it looks like I still can PLUS I am the next Sarah Connor so I really need to be jacked!!

Yeah! It's so scary when you get back problems for the first time. Really do what he says. Go Sarah Connor! My dd did cross country for the fall, now she's switched up to swimming. She has Sever's disease, but it disappears after about 15, so she soldiers on. It amazes me that a 12 year old can be so aware of physical training. But, that's her. She's kind of anal about that. Poor little Ava Lee, she's my shadow, so she's all about hearth and home and being happy.

That is GREAT that she is so aware. It's the only way to be. The amount of people that damage themselves at older ages and you cannot help them. They won't use proper form or train correctly- sigh.... Sorry about her disease but it's good that it goes at 15.

As for Ava Lee- seems like a real sweetie.

Ava Lee is my heart. My dd has always had a clear focus on what she wants out of life. I just make sure she has the proper training to get where she wants. She is a warrior.

Your daughters are very lucky.
