Hello fellow actors and entertainment professionals,
My name is Joseph Callari and I have taken Robert and Michelle Colt’s 3-Day Acting Success Now seminar twice in the past year. I’ve recommended it to dozens of actors and non-actors alike. I also attend their 2-hour support seminars when I can.
I am a full time working actor of theatre, television and film. I am also a producer. Most recently Associate Producer of the “2009 Drama Desk Awards”, Producer of “Mindgame” starring Keith Carradine and an investor in “Rooms” recently at New World Stages. I also have owned my own retail business for over 30 years.
Since several of you have asked, I’d like to address your curiosity about the 3-Day seminar. First off, this not a scam. The Colts are honest, caring people teaching a technique that has taken them years to develop. In my opinion, it is worth every penny and more.
For credibility’s sake, here is a list of a few entertainment professionals who recommend and work with the Colts. Google them for more information. These well-respected professionals are often present and introduced at the seminars.

As with any class, workshop or seminar, this may not be right for everyone but it has been my experience that over 90% of the attendees come away with a newfound appreciation and love for their own work as actors. Everyone will come away with a better understanding of themselves as human beings. The techniques taught are useful for anyone who wants to get to know themselves better, not just actors.
We’ve all taken acting classes, monologue classes, audition classes and the like. They all encourage us to release our stress and anxiety and find our center and focus. The techniques, exercises and tools taught in these seminars will go deeper than you could ever imagine.
You will start by exploring how the mind and nervous system can work with you and against you. Understanding how anything works is the first step toward being able to accepting its operation whether it be the mind, our nervous system, a turbine engine or something as simple as an umbrella.
Once you come to understand that whatever you resist persists and resistance equals suffering, you will then allow yourself to just “be” and accept being in the moment. Good or bad. And isn’t being in the moment what we strive for as actors? That’s where the effortless part comes in.
Every day as actors, as human beings, we are faced with the challenges of life, such as the stress of getting the acting job, working our survival jobs and dealing with the endless chatter of our own minds. Imagine being able to just flow with the tide and have a “Whatever!” look at life and our careers. That’s not to say we don’t care. It means we accept and allow that the world around us is what it is. Worrying, stressing and resisting only cause us pain and suffering and NEVER helps the situation.
Once this is accepted, you will no longer waste valuable time and effort on things you have no control over and you will begin to be much more productive in your life and your career. As for your acting, your mind will begin to be free of clutter and you will think more clearly. Being more creative and in the moment.
Again, this may not be right for everyone, but I myself have taken classes much more expensive and have come away learning the same things I was taught in my high school drama class. These seminars have brought me to the next, and much more advanced, level of my career as an actor.
I wish you all the very best in yours.
Sincerely,
Joseph Callari
