I have read on numerous sites the dos and dont's (no jeans or black) of what to wear to a commercial audition, but they also recommend to "dress the part".

I have an audition for a "Scooter" commercial. The producer called my acting coach. They want a "pretty girl". No lines, just sitting on the back of the bike. I want to be cute, but also professional at the same time.

The person I spoke to at the production company said to wear "whatever is comfortable".

I was thinking of wearing a bright colored polo shirt (to be neat looking), with one of the following:

- capri rolled up jeans
- jeans
- dressier black capris with a little "flare" at the ankle
- neatly pressed, fitted khaki bermuda shorts

FYI I am 5'2", so I am going for "cute" vs. glamazon. Assistance appreciated. This is my first commercial.

Actually, my fellow board monitor Jackie is the queen of what to wear to commercial auditions. But in case she doesn't check in before your audition, I'll give you my "I'm a guy and I don't know much about this stuff" two cents.

You'll be on a bike in the spot, so eleminate any pants that aren't bike friendly. The bright polo shirt is perfect. Hmmm...I lean toward the capri jeans, though I'm hoping some women will weigh in as well.

In which case, would bermuda khakis or jeans be appropriate? I might wear the capris and just bring the two pairs of bermuda shorts. They are both fitted and flattering.
