Do you guys think there's going to be a SAG strike? Are you prepared--mentally, emotionally, financially--for that possibility?

I was chatting with a commercial 1st A.D. who has been in the biz for decades. He said doubtful as he believes SAG is fully aware that people are still recovering from the WGA strike and another strike so soon would cause severe financial damage etc and the economy is bad enough right now. It would be too dangerous so soon, basically. I agree with him. If it happens, I personally have had sooooo much rotten luck financially since I moved here in July 2006, that I would probably go back to Vegas where I have a house and a husband. There is so much work available there I could get something fast and save for 6 months and then return and start back at acting again. I think everyone needs a plan in case as you just NEVER KNOW and cannot wait til the last minute for the hammer to drop. (which it could)

Yeah, I can't imagine another strike this soon. It could be devastating.
Then again, its not really fair for actors not to be able to strike if necessary just because writers did it first...but then again, what does fair have to do with any of this!!??
