anyone hear of it?? any thoughts or opinions on this management company?

Here's my experience:
If you do extra work, there is a chance that you'll run into a Black guy named Howard Ferguson. He passes out business cards claiming to be with Baron Entertainment. He edifies the hell out of Baron Entertainment (Yes, I know it's a good agency!) and then tells you to call the number on the business card and come by to the address on the card during certain hours.

I went and followed his directions to see what was up and came to a building that wasn't Baron Entertainment, but a building for some management company called MMPRG. It was run by Howard's wife, Jackie, an eccentric European lady. Those hours Howard suggests to come by are when MMPRG holds classes in Cold reading, improv, etc. If you decide to go with MMPRG the classes cost $80 a week and she wants you to come once a week to show that you're serious(I'd rather save that $320 towards studying cold reading with Margie Haber).

She had me read their contract agreements. She wanted me to have 3 LA Casting profiles and that she will do the submitting. I thought managers aren't legally allowed to get clients work? In addition to headshots, she wanted me to get new ones with a recommended photographer
(another red flag). I remember going to a casting director seminar and some guy showed her a headshot that Jackie made him do and a headshot he did prior to signing with MMPRG. The casting director said that the Jackie directed headshot was crap and his other one was better. I also agreed when I saw both.

Again, this was my experience. Besides helping you get represented by Baron, does anyone have anything positive about signing with MMPRG?
