Hey all-

Has anyone heard of T.S.I. agency? They claim to work with many casting directors and film companies and are able to book you on film spots as principles and do some B.G.

When they contact you via e-mail, they are always requesting 15 to 50 headshots for submissions. I'm thinking with the age of on-line submissions they can just scan in your headshot and submit. But I think each month the amount of headshot they request that yeilds no results esp. for stuff you can submit on you own if you know how to research and network.

I'm just wondering if anyone has really booked anything with them to write home about.

I don't know the agency. But I think it's generally safe to say that if they're booking clients for background work, they don't have a lot of clout in the world of principal roles.

You're also correct that agents who are really, legitimately active in the business mostly submit on-line, or, even if they submit by mail, they do so selectively, scouting out the roles their clients are right for.

If you're saying they're requesting 15 to 50 headshots a month, I'm guessing they're using the scattershot approach -- submitting everyone for every role. And that doesn't work. Casting Directors tend to avoid working with agents who submit inappropriately.

What city is the agency in?
