I was contacted by Venture IAB Agency. An agent saw my profile on LACasting and would like me to audition for commercial representation. I checked them out in IMDb Pro and they seem to have a lot of working clients. However, I looked on SAG's Web site, and they do not appear to be SAG franchised. Is this a bad thing? Has anyone heard anything good or bad about Venture IAB Agency?
Thanks!

I have heard many bad things about Venture. They will kiss butt, get you as a client, and once you want to get a hold of them, they'll never call you back. They have their heads up too many asses to ever get back to a working client. I know many ex-clients that have left that agency that were working actors or hosts just because their own agent wouldn't get back to them. They're a joke and should really be reported. It's probably a good thing they're not a SAG franchised agency otherwise they'd be kicked out. Their theatrical agent is good and prompt, but everyone else there is a joke. Don't go near Venture if you want to ever get work. Try another agency.
