I have a callback for a commercial tomorrow and I'm incredibly stuffed up. Anyone have any tips or ideas of what I can do to clear myself out so I don't sound completely nasal?

Neti Pot or Simply Saline. I think you can get both at any drugstore (CVS, Walgreens, whatnot).

Saline solution will not reduce the swelling, you'll need an anti-histamine for that.

Try a two-pronged approach... an oral medication like Benadryl-D, then a blast of emmy's Aftrin right before you go in.

Too bad the call-back wasn't for a cold remedy!

“Whatever works.”

I believe it's called Afrin -- and it really does work!

You can also try a non sedating histamine, such as Alavert (same thing as Claritin but less expensive, works exactly the same). And you can always get coupons on their site, too! It does NOT make you sleepy. I would also suggest if you have an rx nasal steroid at home for allergies, that you take that, along with your NSA. That way you won't be tired Smiler. Good luck.
