Hey guys,
I'm mainly a singer/actress who took up dance several years ago. This past summer in a ballet class we were doing leeps across the floor and I landed really hard on my left foot. It didn't hurt at first but I felt it the next day. I wraped it, iced it, lived with it, it went away..or so I thought. On occation when I would run I could feel it and sometimes it would seriously hurt. When I do a deep plea in 2nd I can really feel it. But then it would go away. I didn't want to do anything about it at the time 'cause I had acouple things going dance wise and didn't want to loose them.

About 2 months ago I began to feel it in my other foot, I think it was because I was over compensating. By the way the injury is on the top of my foot, right were your foot and leg connect. And sometimes I can feel it more in the middle section on the top of my foot.
I talked to several dance teachers a/b it. One told me it was because I wasn't pushing my knees back all the way during my pleas which maybe could have added to the original injury--i don't know. The other told me that my right foot was hurting because I had been over compensating for the left, which is true.

I want to get someone to look at it because it hasen't gone away and continues to be a problem. Where do I go for sports/dance injurys in NYC? Any suggestions on great places/doctors? I have no idea!

Thanks so much!
