Miss Stone ~ kudos to you for kicking an addiction! People blasting you is only the Uniniverse doing a check up on your coping skills. Big Grin

When I first posted there was some other poster who followed me around and blasted, I think for the sake of blasting.

And I love my cheat days Robert Kim! They are the best days of the week! Okay, I enjoy the salad days also. Roll Eyes

Awwww, you both made my day! Thankfully the spelling police did not come by! We live in a Universe, not a Uniniverse (guess that would be full of ninis Eeker)

Okay, here is one of my FAVORITE guilty pleasures:
Graham Crackers
Butter
Honey

Mix up warm honey and butter and dip the crackers! Double yum!

Great for a snack on a lazy afternoon after a good workout, or not.

And yours?

smiles,
Polly

Oh, and you can have this on a non cheat day if you make this one of your snacks. It's sooo good and rich that you cannot eat too much and if you use "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter with Olive Oil" you really cut out most of the bad. Honey is good for you. So is a bit of fat and well, Graham Crackers, one is not going to kill you.

As for the honey and butter, you don't need much since there is so much flavor packed into these foods. For one cracker you only need about one half teaspoon of the honey butter mix. One cracker square is only about 55 calories so total calories is less than 150! You can work that off by just breathing and thinking for an hour or two.

What do you call Smores? Health food??

I think you're getting off on a tangent here that isn't quite speaking to the problem of food addiction...

I enter the board again, head slung low, peeking up through my hair . . . should have prefaced my post with:

"My name is Polly, I have a food addiction and this is how I cope!"

I assumed you would recognize the excitement in my post about Honey Butter and Graham Crackers and realize it's my addiction, thus the tangent. I tamed my addiction so it's as healthy as possible, yet it's been with me since childhood.

FYI: Smores are not considered a health food unless used as treatment for PMS.

So . . . Mister Kim . . . . what is your food addiction, if any, and how do you cope with it?

Have a great day and kudos for catching the tangent!

When I was a child I was addicted to candy. No problem. My dad was a dentist.

Now I'm addicted to sushi. Much more healthy, but much more expensive.

Do you know what the letters "PMS" stand for? "Pardon My Screaming."

Maybe I'll give those graham crackers & honey butter a try...

“Whatever works.”
