Hello everyone.

I have straight and nice teeth, but they are slightly discolored (genetics), and I want a bright white smile. Dental veneers scare me for several reasons, mainly due to how it is such an evasive procedure for your teeth, and I'm in my mid-twenties and don't want my teeth shaved down in any way, even if it is just a little.

I've done some serious online research, and I came across "Snap on smiles". At first I rolled my eyes because it seemed like such a dumb gimmick. But I've done a lot of research and they look like a great option for someone in my position. I just want something I can put on for auditions and when I'm actually working on set, not for my everday life outside acting.

Does anyone here have any experience either having a snap on smile or knowing others who do? I saw the other post in this forum regarding someone who had them and liked them, but I wanted to start a specific topic on the product.

My main concern is if the smile looks real when you are wearing it. I don't want eyebrows raised when I open my mouth and speak.

Hi Blair,
I don't know if you ever got any response to this or if you ever looked into it further, but I've been in the dental field for 24+ years and can tell you that Snap On Smile is TOTALLY worth it!

There are no shots, no drilling and no adhesives for it to stay in. It "snaps" right over your natural teeth and it looks beautiful!

Plus, compared to doing permanent cosmetic work, it is a fraction of the cost. And with proper care, it can last anywhere between 3-5 years.

If you would like to get a referral to someone in NYC in your area who is doing it, you can reply to me and I can guide you in the right direction.

Keep Smilin'
Pamela

Distinctive asked me to post the following in her behalf. She submitted a comment on the following website, -
Snap On Smile to Increase Vertical Dimension? | DDSGadget Dental and after someone replied, she was not allowed to answer the reply. To me it sounds like something bad journalists would do. To see what I’m talking about visit - http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2701483#post2701483 or my website which is http://cybercorrespondent.blogspot.com.

I'm glad someone added this addendum.

Devices like these are always simply quick, cosmetic fixes. They may look great, but nothing replaces permanent, aesthetic dental procedures.

My teeth are great but I am curious about those snap on smiles! Have you ever actually seen them, Robert? If so can you describe??
