I am thinking I am a little overweight looking? Numbers don't matter to me, but what you actually look like. I haven't check the scale in months, but this photo is about 10 days old.

ah! mystique you are GORGEOUS! and have a beautiful shaped face, you are NOT fat! and we have the same hair! (i saw you thought about dying it blond in another forum...the Bradford thread!) but everyone has blond hair! Yours is unique and gorgeous and suits you so well. If you are going for the "femme fatale" look, remember who all the big femme fatales are today, Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox, etc. And they are all brunettes. Sorry to go off on a tangent, just felt like I had to say something, because your look right now is so absolutely lovely. : )

You definatly are not anything close to overweight i think you could easily have a spread in Maxim or FHM or other magazines of the sort

I can't see enough of your upper body, which means you look like you may or may not be overweight, but probably not by much. And the center of your chest looks photoshopped, like you're hiding the outline of your breasts.

From a human point of view, you look hot (though the photo does hide a lot of your body, if weight's your concern.)

From a Hollywood point of view, you might find you miss parts not because you're actually fat, but simply because you're not waif-like.

Not much you can do about that really, except perservere.

Dang mystique...you look gr8!!
there's so much pressure on women to be
uber thin...like poor jennifer connelly's new
look....or that hollow cheeked look of misha barton??...(though I do also have some actress friends who look awesome at very very thin levels)

You still look slim but healthy too...can't beat that
I think I'm a good judge since I was an agent in the 80s and got teri hatcher and lisa rinna some of their first jobs when they were still in northern california

You're so cute! You don't look, as Jim said, waify, but I think that's ok. For me my "type" (ie waspy teenagers) is pretty much a get-skinny competition, and if that's what I'm marketing, I have to bring that product. You look maybe Latina though (Italian?), and I would say that so far as I know there is leeway there to be curvy, that having boobs and butt is more acceptable, maybe even as asset (again, I can't really tell, but your face is most certainly not chubby at all).

That said, if you feel like you'd be more comfortable if you worked out, do it for the sake of doing it, not weight loss or whatever. I know that I feel loads better mentally when I do, and it gives me confidence to feel like I could punch someone out! And yoga is great for head-clearing too. (OK, now I sound like one of those "and I love eating vegetables it gives me energy!!!" people...ha.)

You have a nice face. You are pretty eccentric, judging from your posts, so that tells me that you have something unique beyond your looks to bring to the camera. Capitalize on that. Don't be afraid of what makes you you, to stand out from the pack.

The tendency of current trends in actresses is for finer features, less face breadth. This is counter intuitive, because if you ask any medical professional that is worth a damn and they will tell you that face breadth and fully developed dental arches is a sign of health. Unfortunately, in this culture obsessed with youth, a woman with a strong jawline is somehow considered un-feminine, and tastes skew towards girlish undeveloped looks.

My best advice is to stop being so insecure and exploit what makes you special. In this industry you have to either have personality for character acting or looks for leading roles. If you have both or a combination of the two then you are one step ahead of the game.

You have extremely good features. I love your hair and that's definitely a beautiful smile. I'm always vain about how puffy or overweight I look even though I'm fine to start with. Don't worry, you're not a tad fat or overweight, you have a beautiful picture there. Just believe in yourself in all aspects and you'll make it!

Sincerely,
Julie Chase

You look fabulous, darling.

But you should stay away from heavy eye makeup.

You're still sixteen, let your natural beauty show through!
