I was on a tight budget when I bought these as a tester to see how I feel about them.
I bought walgreens A to Z one a day whihc is comparable to centrum on sale for about eight bucks for a years supply. I take two of them a day as I work out pretty hard.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a brand smaller vitamins? I just can't swallow the large horse pills. I would also rather not swallow the ones that look and taste like compressed mulch.
Anyone?

In my experience, almost all multivitamins are pretty... mulchy. But I like the Target store brand of multivitamin for both its contents (iron is a big one for me personally) and its size (non-equine).

Thanks for the suggestions, kinniggets. I will check them out. I also like the prices at Target.

My advice on that one would be to get gummy vitamins or chewables. If you can't deal with swallowing and don't like the taste, then get one that tastes good and can be chewed.
The brand Gummy Vites ones taste so good! They taste better than gummy bears, and they offer pretty good nutrition. I don't think they have much iron, but other stuff should be good on.

Multi-vitamins are ok. But be very careful, if you use one that's just one kind ie C, D etc. Also if you're on anykind of meds some react w/particular vitamins.

don't take a single(pill) like vitamin A/C. Take a multi-vitamin. If you want to go for the c, then go for fruits. Be careful of a. My cousin, when she was 10, went through carrot phase and ate carrots everyday. She started to turn yellow, it was from eating carrots. She had to stay away from them for awhile.
