I need more energy for my life, since I am always half exhausted. I don't want to use energy drinks, and diet pills (too expensive but it works if you get Zantrex), since they aren't long lasting, but something that will give me that extra boast.

And give me the clarity of the mind without getting sidetrack to something else.

Since I started weight training, I never felt more alive.

It is THE best drug I have ever found- when I am lifting, I feel like I could do ANYTHING- and I will!

The rule is simple- lift like a man- look and feel like a goddess! Wink

The answer is simple. Eat healthy, get proper sleep, and exercise on a regular basis. Very simple concept, but it's very hard to have the discipline to actually put it into practice.

Yes, I was going to elaborate and say lifestyle changes.

Mystique, I feel you! I live in NYC, work two jobs, and feel like I'm always on the run: to a class, an audition, a job. I am a runner and a dancer, and I always feel better after I take a class or go for a jog. But my hardest part is getting up the motivation to say, wake up at 7am instead of 8 so I can fit in that job before I have to hit the office, especially when I've worked at the restaurant til midnight the night before.
I'm still tryin to figure out how to keep reminding myself that it's worth it to make a little time for exercise.

Mystique,
I highly recommend drinking wheatgrass juice. i started about 2 years ago and have drank it almost every day since. There are too many benefits to list here, but I will tell you that 2 ounces of wheatgrass juice has the nutritional value of almost 5 pounds of green vegetables. It is an appetite suppressant, and when I started drinking it I felt so good that I actually stopped drinking coffee for a while because I didn't need it any more. I'm not guaranteeing that you'll get the same effect from it that I do, but it's definitely worth a try. Just be sure to drink the juice from fresh, raw wheatgrass, not the powder or pill. You can get it at most juice bars and at specialty grocery stores like Whole Foods and Wegmans.

I just started drinking those 5 hour energy shots. They only have 4 calories, so they don't ruin my diet. They are super sweet too, no bitterness. I like them, give them a try! 6 pack at walmart is $11-12.

For me, even when I eat healthy & exercise, I still need something extra. I'm always fatigued. Sometimes I go through anemic stages. Iron pills do not work on me. Caffeine is the only thing that wakes me up.

Those energy drinks are all JUNK. Miss stone had it right. Only exercise and eating right (small, nutritious meals
throughout the day) can ever give you the long-lasting healthy energy you want.Big Grin

Try eating more fruits and veggies, raw of course! I know this isn't the magic answer you wanted but it works... Try to get enough sleep
