You have every right to be as moody as you want, Em. YOU GO GIRL! YOU FIGHT THIS THING! GET TOUGH! BE MOODY! VISUALIZE the cancer being EATEN AWAY! Focus on a positive new beginning! YOU CAN DO IT!

Remember that, Em. It WILL BE OVER! Each day and each treatment is another day closer to you feeling better. Unfortunately, things seem to get worse before they get better, but THEY DO GET BETTER! Hugs,

Dear Em -
DebC here. I don't think you really know me, as I don't post often here -- lurk mostly -- post a lot on a couple of other boards. But I often read and enjoy your posts, and when I saw this latest one, I just had to respond.
I was so sorry to hear your news, but very moved by the support offered here and the strength and resolve you are showing.
At 40, you were approaching major decision-time anyway as far as having babies -- but to have that decision taken away from you is devastating. It happened to my sister. But interestingly not from uterine cancer, but instead from Breast cancer. Why? Because the chemotherapy puts the body into early menopause. So ANY type of cancer can take that choice away from you......I am so very, very sorry.
I was DELIGHTED however, to read that you have had the opportunity to freeze an embryo. That's WONDERFUL!! And also that your MRI was so good. Awesome news.
And right now.....rather than thinking about choices that were removed, you must put all your energy and positive thoughts into getting well. Because you WILL get well. My sister did. Others have. I KNOW you will!!
I also know how dreadful this whole thing is -- I was with my sister during one of her chemo treatments. And sure she became moody -- and had every right to in my opinion. I am sending you all kinds of prayers and good thoughts and positive energy. Pretend the whole gang from Backstage Boards is there giving you a hug -- a *virtual* hug, heh-heh.
And Em. I never had the choice. I always wanted a dozen kids, and am not able to have them. It crushed me, and although I have absolutely no regrets in life, that is the toughest knock for some of us to take.
But I am also here to tell you that even if your frozen embryo does not work out, there are worse things than not be able to have kids, no matter how wonderful having them would be.
So....if you ever need to talk, lemme know.
Sending light, love, and laughter, DebC
