Detox. healthily, that is. Do a google search on it: you'll find millions of resources to choose the best. Work out REGULARLY. Like every day. r at least 5 times a week. LOTS OF RAW (not cooked) fruits and veggies. Protein, lean. Nuts, fish, quinoa (it's this weird health grain. but its good), beans, etc. I am a vegan so I am a bit biased in the eaing-lots-of-veggies department. but it is healthy. What works for me may not work for you. Here are some good links: sparkteens.com (I remember you saying you were a teen. This is good for keeping track of things) http://altmedicine.about.com/cs/dietarytherapy/a/Detox_Diet_Plan.htm (More detox info) http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/ (Find out how many calories a day you should be having to maintain/lose weight) http://www.keepkidshealthy.com/welcome/bmicalculator.html Find out BMI- for teens. P.S. keep in mind this is coming from someone recovering from an ED.lol.

Great advice here. Seriously, cut out all junk food, and cut out starchy carbs (bread, potatoes, pasta). Lots of raw food is definitely the way to go. Personally I consume a lot of fruit since I'm not really into vegetables. In addition to lean protein from food, protein shakes and bars are also good, if you know what you're looking at. Good amount of protein, low carbs, low sugar, not too much fat. And while its technically not protein-based, Slim-fast products are very good and they taste really good as well. For a person trying to maintain their weight, it's usually suggested to work out for 45 minutes about 4 times a week. So for someone trying to lose weight rapidly, I'd suggest an hour a day (or more, depending on what you want to do and what you can handle; no more than 2 hours is necessary) 5 or 6 days a week. Try to do half strength training and half cardio, going by however long your workout is. Pilates, yoga, cardio kickboxing and other aerobics classes are also good, if you can find them in your area. YMCA's usually have everything there. Spin classes (stationary bike) are also fantastic for you legs. Drink lots of water, take a daily multi-vitamin. Technically, losing weight quickly is known as "crash dieting." Its never really recommended, but here's an AOL health article where health experts describe how they crash diet healthily. http://www.aolhealth.com/diet/basics/doctors-crash-dietIf I can think of anything else, I'll come back =].

Drink lots and lots of water. It really works. I put on a lot of weight and didn't drink water. I got one of those personal size jugs, you can find at walmart. It's supposed to be the equivalent of water needed on a daily basis, I drink the whole thing every day. That's a good start because if you don't change your eating habits at least you'll be cleaning out your system. Walk for at least an hour a day, if you jog, that's even better. Cut out late night snacks. You need to cut off eating at least 2 hours before you go to bed. You wanna know my biggest secret to losing weight in addition to what I listed above? Quaker's Oats. It's all I eat. You'll see a big change in your metabolism.

Like Morgin I'm also vegan. I really recommend veganism or vegetarianism. Immediately you cut out a lot of unhealthy, high-fat foods, and have to think more about nutrition. A lot of actresses are vegan or vegetarian. Since I don't eat dairy, meat, or eggs in anything, my diet is cholesterol-free and low in saturated fats. It encourages me to eat a lot of veggies. Of course you can be vegan and be unhealthy, but as a vegan if you are getting protein from things like nuts, whole grains, and soy and eating a lot of fruits and veggies, it can be extremely healthful. You will likely lose weight, without having to impose any artificial calorie limitations. And make sure to cut out all junk foods, processed foods, and try to eat only unrefined grains (quinoa, brown rice, etc.)

Vegetarians eat no meat, fish or poultry. Vegans don't eat any animal products (eggs, milk, etc).
