I've gotten a callback to a show at the Lazy Susan Dinner Theater in Woodbridge, Virginia. It is for a lead role in a non-union show. Does anyone have any knowledge of this dinner theater? Is there any buzz about the place, good or bad? It would be a very long drive for me if I got the role, so I want to make sure it has a good reputation before I consider signing on. Thank you!

Hi hopeful, I know some people who performed there. They enjoyed it, said the director & stage mgr are great. It's a popular place. Make sure what they pay is going to cover your gas, if that's important to you.

i know lots of folks who have worked there. i don't know if any have worked there since 2000 (when i knew lots of people who worked there), but back then, it was pretty decent, as far as DC area dinner theatres go. i don't know if it was Tobys quality b/c I never saw a show there, but i know talented people who worked there.
Lazy Susan is definitely one of the better dinner theatres in the area. Toby's is still by far the best, but I know people who worked with them and enjoyed it.
