basically, they want to know how much free stuff you can offer them. what can you teach free, do you have filming locations they can use for free, do you have a place that they can have social events and parties at (for free). very very little of it seems to have anything to do with actual acting.
they used to be an "acting group" in which $50 were charged per month membership, but i've heard it was about the same then too. they wanted to know what free stuff they could get from members, but didn't offer classes or workshops, or produced projects (tho apparently there was a short film involved, but i don't know the story of that).
it seems like they changed their tune only over the summer, to become a networking support group with no fees. up until a week or so ago, there was a breakdown on AA from april of this year for company members for the original group with $50 membership fees involved.
i believe allen is an acting teacher, and he teaches out of his very very small theatre (about 30 seats, i would guess).
